Jojoba for Namibia

Jojoba For Namibia Trust

Namib Desert Jojoba, a company based in Swakopmund, supports several rural projects growing jojoba plants in the hot, dry interior of Namibia. This particular farm (near Omseldam) is led by a woman named Rosa Smit, who is using the knowledge of the surrounding desert environment to rapidly expand her growing area. The project website is here.
